around this time last year, The Sole supplier reported that the iconic CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 “Kiss Of Death” was making a legendary comeback in not one, but three colourways. While the amount of people who believed us was close to zero, fast forward twelve months and we’re now taking a look at the third colourway that we mentioned, dubbed the CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 “Solar Red”.
Hands down the best one of the trio, Edison Chen and Kevin Poon really kept the best to last. With a grey and “Solar Red” leather and suede construction, this unique colour combo is actually inspired by something pretty unexpected. In fact, according to the HK multi-hyphenate, this Air Max 1 pays homage to the pair that was specially created for Kanye West during his “Touch The Sky” tour stop in Hong Kong back in 2006.

With that said, CLOT have added their own unique details to the AM1 as well. Doing away with the transparent toebox in favour of something a little more wearable, regal gold detailing is intricately embroidered at the heel while “CLOT” branding is finely debossed along the lateral side panels.
