Teased by ASAP Bari at the end of last year, the 1020 takes the conventional idea of a boot straight into the future. painted in a bold orange colourway, it’s crafted from a waterproof textile with highly sculpted elements throughout. On the heel you’ll find extra cushioning, while the lateral and medial side panels are engraved with thick adidas three stripe branding.
Down below, you’ll find an extra chunky midsole that’s fortified with sleek taping around the front and back, and interestingly enough, the rubber outsole is made in collaboration with Continental, implying it’s sure to give resilient traction with every single step. This company typically makes automobile tyres and they famously produce rubber for the Ultra increase and 500 “Stone” lines.
